De Antonio Yachts presents its new model D50: A 50 feet with Jacuzzi in the bow
After the successful D42 comes the D50 Open equipped with three outboard motors. The D50 Open replaces the D46 flagship so far of the brand founded by sailor Marc de Antonio.
De Antonio Yachts has just revealed what his new flagship will look like. It is an “open” proposal equipped with a triple outboard motorization, undoubtedly one of the hallmarks of this brand since its inception, an evolution, according to the shipyard, of the most powerful model in the range: the D46.
The shipyard proposes a triple engine that adds 1,800 maximum horsepower, that is, a maximum power per engine of 600, which suggests that, most likely, the first unit with three units of the brand new 600 Mercury V12 Verado could be presented. Hp officially unveiled recently. The maximum speed estimated by the Catalan brand is 50 knots and 30 knots at cruising speed.
The D50 Open offers 2 or 3 cabins but each option with different configurations which finally leads to offering a great combination of options to choose from. The option of three cabins offers, in turn, another option such as a cabin for a professional crew member.
One of the options that can attract the most attention is that in its almost 15 m in total length, the placement of a saltwater jacuzzi in its bow with some type of interior glass is considered.
