De Antonio Yachts, with its D46 Open model, has been the first Spanish shipyard in history to achieve distinguished recognition in the highest category.

De Antonio Yachts was born in 2012 in Barcelona by Marc de Antonio and Stanislas Chmielewski and in just six years they have managed to be nominated for best boat of the year 2018 in length less than 10 meters (30 feet) with their D28 model and now be winners with their longest model the D46 Open in the category over 14 meters (40 feet).

The D46 Open is the largest model of the brand together with its twin the D46 Cruiser. The Spanish boat beat other models such as the Absolute Navetta 48, Azimut Atlantis 51, Bénéteau Swift Trawler 47 and the Galeon 640 Fly. The jury of the European Boat of the Year is made up of the publications Båtliv (Norway), BoatMag.it (Italy), Boote (Germany), Marina.ch (Switzerland), MotorBoot (Holland), Neptune and Moteur Boat (France), Yacht Revue (Austria) and Náutica & Yates Magazine (Spain).
