Sell & Sail · Ownership

Leave the maintenance behind.
Enjoy the pleasure of sailing.

We look into buying your boat or taking it off your hands, and a formula that lets you keep enjoying the sea with scheduled outings, without taking on full ownership again.

Subject to the boat’s valuation, the berth situation and the terms of the agreement.

The twist

Your boat should hold memories, not pile up worries.

Repairs, haul-outs, inspections and costs can stop making sense when you use the boat less. But selling it doesn’t mean saying goodbye to sailing.

You’re not giving up the sea. You’re giving up the obligations of a boat that no longer fits your life.

The proposal

Swap ownership for organised enjoyment.

We value the boat, look into the berth situation and put forward an agreement with a defined number of outings, terms, boat and services.

How it works

From ownership to the right to enjoy, in five steps.

01

We review the boat, paperwork and berth

Condition, history and rights linked to the marina.

02

Valuation and transaction proposal

Purchase or takeover of the boat, with clear terms.

03

We agree on the outings

Number, validity period, seasons, boat and services.

04

We make it official

Transfer of the boat and right of use, in writing.

05

You book and sail

Following the agreed procedure, with the boat prepared and a skipper if you wish.

Benefits

Your life at sea continues, without the burden.

No unexpected repairs

The management no longer falls on the former owner.

No need to buy again

Your enjoyment is agreed without taking on another whole boat.

More comfort

The option to sail with a skipper and a boat that’s ready.

Terms in writing

Outings, dates and services defined from the start.

Written agreement

Everything that’s defined before you sign.

Every Sell & Sail proposal specifies these points, so your enjoyment doesn’t depend on interpretation.

Frequently asked questions

What people who want to give up ownership ask us

Do you buy any boat?

No. It depends on the condition, value, documentation, length and operational fit. We look at each case individually.

It requires a contractual review and, where applicable, authorisation from the marina. We don’t promise an automatic transfer.

They are negotiated based on the boat’s value and the terms of the transaction, and are set out in writing.

The agreement defines seasons, quotas and booking notice. Peak dates are expressly regulated.

This is specified in each proposal. You can sail with a professional skipper, and how fuel is handled is clearly defined.

The agreement sets out whether the right is personal, family or transferable.

There is a replacement or rescheduling policy included in the agreement.
