What does the rental of the De Antonio Yachts D42 Open Tot Suma include?
Price includes
Professional captain, VAT, full insurance, towels, water and soft drinks, snacks, glasses and tableware, Bluetooth, paddle board, snorkels, inflatables.
Price does not include
Fuel consumption (depending on the route chosen by the client), hostess (€150 + VAT on request) and SeaBob (€300 + VAT on request).
Notes
External SeaBobs are not permitted on board — SeaBobs must be hired directly through De Antonio Yachts Ibiza.
For new clients, a deposit of 30% of the charter fee may be requested as APA (Advance Provisioning Allowance). Fuel consumption, any additional expenses incurred during the day charter, and any damage to the vessel (if applicable) will be deducted from this deposit.
A 50% advance payment is required to confirm your reservation. The remaining 50% is due before boarding. We accept bank transfer, card and cash.
If weather conditions do not allow safe navigation, we will offer you a free date change. If rescheduling is not possible, a full refund will be issued.
Maximum capacity: 11 guests + captain. Pets allowed with prior notice. You are welcome to bring your own food and drinks.

Everything you need to know before boarding
Schedule
The day charter lasts 8 hours. Standard schedule 10:00–18:00, adjustable to your preferences. To make the most of daylight and water activities, we recommend an early departure. Meeting point: Marina Ibiza, Passeig Joan Carles I, berth K12. We recommend arriving 15 minutes early for check-in with your captain.
Booking and payment
A 50% advance payment is required to confirm your reservation. The remaining 50% is due before boarding. We accept bank transfer, card and cash. You will receive an email confirmation with your contract, charter conditions and exact berth location. For new clients, a deposit of 30% of the charter fee may be requested as APA (Advance Provisioning Allowance), from which fuel consumption, additional expenses and any damage incurred during the charter will be deducted.
Fuel
Fuel is not included in the price. It is charged based on actual consumption at the end of the day. The D42 Open Tot Suma has an average consumption of 145 litres/hour at cruising speed. Its tank guarantees more than enough range for long routes with multiple stops. Your captain will optimise the route to balance enjoyment and fuel efficiency.
Cancellation and bad weather:
If weather conditions do not allow safe navigation, we will offer you a free date change. If rescheduling is not possible, a full refund will be issued. You will not lose your money.
On-board rules
Maximum capacity: 11 passengers + captain. Pets allowed with prior notice. You are welcome to bring your own food and drinks. Drug use and any behaviour that compromises safety on board are strictly prohibited.

The D42 Open as a Base for Water Activities: Why It's the Perfect Yacht
The advantage of the D42 for an active day at sea is its combination of power, space and water access. The triple hidden engine configuration allows fast movement between coves to make the most of 8 charter hours: instead of spending two hours sailing to a single destination, with the Totsuma you can visit four or five different coves in one day, dedicating real time at each stop for swimming, snorkelling or paddle boarding. The adjustable swim platform lowers to sea level, creating a genuine terrace on the water from which to jump, climb back on, gear up for snorkelling or simply sit with your feet in the sea. The deck space means all the water sports equipment is ready and accessible without getting in the way of guests who prefer to relax on the sundeck.
Active Routes with the D42 Totsuma from Marina Ibiza
The most complete route for an active day is the north coast of Ibiza: departing Marina Ibiza towards Cala Salada and Cala Gracioneta for the first swim and paddle board of the morning, sailing up to Portinatx with a snorkelling stop at the underwater caves of Cala Xarraca, lunch prepared on board in the outdoor kitchen and returning along the east coast with an anchor at Es Figueral. It is a route that few charters cover because it requires range and speed — two things the D42 has in abundance. For those who prefer Formentera, the active route includes snorkelling in the posidonia meadows of Ses Illetes — a UNESCO World Heritage site — paddle boarding in the flat waters of S’Espalmador and anchoring at Es Caló to explore the coastline by swimming. And for the ultimate experience, add a SeaBob and explore the underwater caves of the west coast at speed.
D42 Tot Suma or Another Yacht for Your Active Day in Ibiza?
If your priority is a day of water activities with a large group of up to 12, the D42 Totsuma is unbeatable for space, equipment and speed between coves. For a smaller group looking for a more agile format, the D36 Open Ananda offers outdoor kitchen and two cabins in a more compact LOA that also handles active routes well. For a purely sporty experience with a small group of up to 9, the D32 Open Donatello is more nimble and can anchor in narrow coves where larger yachts cannot fit. And remember: if the Totsuma is not available, we have four more D42s in the fleet — Ragnar, Valkyria, Azurean and Bambino — with the same water sports equipment and identical specifications.
