Members' programme

Ibiza Residents Club: preferential charter terms for residents.

The Ibiza Residents Club is De Antonio Yachts Ibiza’s programme for people who live or own a home in Ibiza and Formentera: resident rates on a private boat with skipper, priority booking and last-minute alerts. Free to join, with no fee and no commitment.

Two minutes to register, no documents. Your link to the island is confirmed on your first booking.

Who it is for

Who the Ibiza Residents Club is for

Boat hire for Ibiza residents and Formentera homeowners, reserved for people who live or own a home on the islands, whatever their nationality.

Resident

You live here all year

You are registered in Eivissa, Santa Eulària, Sant Josep, Sant Antoni, Sant Joan or Formentera.

Second home

You own a home here

Even if you spend only part of the year on the island, you join on the same terms.

Long stay

You rent here

With a long-term rental contract in Ibiza or Formentera, you count as a resident.

Season

You work the season

If you live on the island for the season, April to October, you can join the club.

No documents or paperwork to register: your link to the island is confirmed on your first booking.

Member benefits

What you get as an Ibiza Resident

Six benefits built on one principle: residents should not charter on the same terms as a one-week visitor.

Resident rate

Member terms in spring, June, September and October, the quietest months of the season.

Early booking

You see each season’s calendar before it opens to the public, and choose your dates before demand arrives.

Residents Flash alerts

When a boat frees up at short notice, you hear first, on member terms. Any date, August included.

Direct WhatsApp line

Book by messaging the team with your member number. No forms, no repeating your details.

Preferences on file

Favourite coves, music, drinks or children’s gear: noted once, never explained again.

Family and guests

Your immediate family sails on your terms and, each season, you have named guest passes.

Your member card

The Ibiza Residents Card, always on your phone.

There is no app to download. When you join, your digital card arrives by WhatsApp and email with your name, member number and level. It identifies you when you book, when you board and, as they join, at partner venues on the island.

Worth it?

Is the Ibiza Residents Club worth joining?

Living here, you have three alternatives: buy a boat, pay a membership club or book like any visitor. This is how they compare.

Versus owning a boat

Sailing without a berth or upkeep

Owning a boat in Ibiza starts with finding a berth, and thousands of people are on waiting lists in the Balearics. With the club you sail with no berth, no maintenance and no winter storage.

Versus a membership club

No annual fee, skipper included

Membership clubs charge a yearly fee and put you at the helm. Here, belonging costs nothing and every trip comes with a professional skipper.

Versus booking as a visitor

The best months, on your terms

May, June, September and October: warm water, quiet coves and boats available, in the months when residents are on the island and tourist demand drops.

The real maths

You hire the boat, not a seat

A D28, D29 or D32 takes nine guests plus the skipper, from €1,200 at the public rate. Shared by six, about €200 each; less in club months.

Occasions

Four occasions the club is designed for

Trips shaped around island life: visitors, low season, weekday evenings and celebrations.

Guests

Family and friends visiting

A day at sea for your guests, organised from start to finish by our team.

Low season

Spring and autumn trips

Quiet coves and still-warm water, with the resident rate in force.

Weekdays

Evening trips

Sunset from the water, back in port in time for dinner.

Celebrations

Birthdays and anniversaries

Private celebrations on board, with catering on request.

Before you join

What people usually ask before joining

We would rather answer in writing, before you register.

“Is it a club with an annual fee?”

No fee, no fleet access

Every trip is a charter with a professional skipper, like any booking, on member terms. Belonging to the club costs nothing.

“Will I get too many messages?”

Two a week, at most

And only if you accept the alerts. Off season, one a month. You can unsubscribe at any time.

“Is it any use in August?”

In August, the club gives priority

You book before the calendar opens and receive the short-notice slots, which carry member terms on any date.

“I would rather not send documents”

None are requested

Registering requires nothing attached. Your link to the island is checked against the passenger list for your first trip, which already requires ID or NIE.

“I only go out a few times a year”

There is no minimum

A single trip a year can already be on member terms. And Flash alerts let you sail without planning months ahead.

“Why isn't the rate published?”

Because it depends on the boat and the date

The member rate is sent, boat by boat, when you join. If it does not suit you, you have lost nothing: registration is free.

Invite another resident

Inviting another resident benefits you both.

Every member receives a personal code with their card. Whoever joins with your code starts with a welcome benefit on their first trip, and you earn sailing credit once that trip takes place.

Who runs the boat

A skipper who knows your preferences.

In almost half of our reviews, clients mention their skipper by name. For anyone who sails several times a season, that continuity matters as much as the boat: a professional who knows your preferences and your group, and checks the forecast every morning before proposing a route.

Book without risk

If the day cannot go ahead, you do not lose the payment.

Nobody controls the weather: a single westerly can rearrange an entire week in Ibiza. What is within our control is what happens next, and we would rather set it out before you book than bury it in a clause.

Booking with us is not a wager on the forecast.

Frequently asked questions

Ibiza Residents Club: frequently asked questions

How much does it cost to be an Ibiza Residents Club member?

Nothing. Membership is free, with no annual fee and no commitment. You only pay for the trips you take, and you take them on member terms. It recognises the people who live on the island; it is not another product.

Anyone who lives in Ibiza or Formentera, whether registered residents, long-term tenants or seasonal workers, and owners of a second home in Ibiza or Formentera, even if they only come for a few months a year. It is open to every nationality: the criterion is residence or a home on the island, never your passport.

No. You register in two minutes without attaching anything. Your link to the island is checked against the passenger list for your first booking, which already requires ID or NIE. If it did not match, the trip goes ahead at the standard rate: it is never cancelled for that reason.

It is more than that. There is a resident rate, but it applies in the quieter months (spring, June, September and October) and it is not published: each member receives it on joining. The rest of the year, the value lies in priority booking, short-notice alerts and member treatment.

In August the club is about access rather than price: you book before the calendar opens and receive the slots that free up at short notice, which do carry member terms. The resident rate applies every day from April to June and from 16 September to the end of the season, and Monday to Thursday in July and the first half of September.

The De Antonio yachts in our Ibiza fleet, from the nine-guest models (D28, D29 and D32) to the eleven-guest ones, such as the D34, D36 or D42. The terms you receive on joining set out which boats and dates carry the resident rate.

Yes. Each season you have named guest passes, so a relative or friend can book on your terms without you on board. Your immediate family always sails on your terms as well.

Yes, from Resident Select level: your tenants can book as house guests and you earn sailing credit for each booking that goes ahead. Write to us and we will explain how it works.

Professional skipper, VAT, comprehensive insurance, towels, water, soft drinks and snacks, tableware, Bluetooth sound, paddle board, snorkel gear and inflatables. Fuel, which depends on the route, and extras on request, such as a hostess or a SeaBob, are charged separately. A full day is eight hours.

By WhatsApp, directly with the team and with your member number: no forms and no repeating your details. The booking is confirmed with 50% of the amount, and the balance is paid before boarding.

If conditions do not allow safe navigation, you move the booking to another date at no cost. If no date suits you, the full amount is refunded. The skipper decides on the morning of the trip, with that day’s forecast.

Yes. Before each season we present members with the season pass: prepaid sailing days with a member advantage, to use whenever you like during the season. Its terms are emailed to members before the season starts.
