A Formentera day trip from Barcelona, planned end to end: a one-hour flight to Ibiza, a private boat with skipper to the beaches, lunch at a beach club and your flight home that night. You choose the date; we handle every leg.
Organised by De Antonio Yachts Ibiza. No-obligation proposal; flights, boat and tables subject to availability.
Formentera has no airport. On your own, the day disappears between the flight, a taxi, the Ibiza–Formentera ferry and the queues at La Savina. We take that off your hands: land in Ibiza, have breakfast and board a private boat bound for the beaches. Few day trips from Barcelona change islands twice and still get you home to sleep.
Breakfast in Ibiza, lunch in Formentera, bed in Barcelona.
The ferry and a do-it-yourself flight both reach the island. Only one leaves time to enjoy it the same day.

Things to do in Formentera, when to eat and when to fly: this is a typical day in season on a scheduled flight. Every time adapts to your flights, the day’s wind and what you feel like.
The first flight of the morning: one hour and five minutes to Ibiza.
Private transfer from Ibiza airport to Marina Ibiza, about fifteen minutes away.
At the marina or up in Dalt Vila. The day starts when you want, not when a ferry leaves.
Your skipper welcomes you, runs through the route and heads for Formentera through Es Freus.
Anchored over sand in turquoise water: Ses Illetes or S’Espalmador, depending on the day’s wind.
A table at a Formentera beach restaurant, or lunch served on board at anchor.
Another cove for a final swim, or on to Es Vedrà. In October, the sunset joins you on the way back.
Step ashore in the last of the afternoon light, with Dalt Vila ahead.
After such a full day, small plates or a light dinner at a restaurant near Marina Ibiza, fifteen minutes from the airport.
Private transfer and your evening flight back to Barcelona, depending on the season. Home the same night.
Indicative timings on a scheduled flight, based on timetables published in September 2026. Flying private, the schedule follows your agenda, subject to the operator’s availability.

It is the question everyone asks before a Formentera day trip from Barcelona. The honest answer depends on how you get there.
Between the first flight out and the flight home there is time for breakfast, sailing, lunch and dinner without watching the clock. No luggage, no check-in, no ferry.
The ferry drops you at La Savina and from there it is roads. By private boat you reach the beaches and move on whenever you like.
Flights, transfers, boat and tables, coordinated by the same person. If something changes, the whole day is rearranged, not just one piece.
From €1,200 for a full day for up to nine guests plus skipper: across six, about €200 each, plus flights and lunch. Not the cheapest option; the one that makes the most of the day.
Lunch is the centrepiece of the day. We book a table at a beach club or beach restaurant in Formentera, subject to availability, or serve lunch on board at anchor. Either way, it is sorted before you leave Barcelona.
Both end in the same place, on board at Marina Ibiza. What changes is how you arrive and when.
Flying from Madrid? The day works the same: direct flights to Ibiza take about an hour and a quarter.
Filling in the form commits you to nothing. With four details we put together a full proposal for your Ibiza and Formentera day trip.
What separates a day of swimming from a day holding the rail is rarely the boat: it is who picks the route. Our skippers work this coast all year and check the forecast every morning before suggesting anything.
You do not need to be eleven. A group of five fits a D28 and pays the D28 price: you hire the whole boat, not a seat.
| Group size | Model | Length | Price of the boat | Per person |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 2 to 6 | D28 · D29 · D32 | 8.8 to 9.8 m | from €1,200 | €200-240 across 5 or 6 |
| 7 to 9 | D28 · D29 · D32 | 8.8 to 9.8 m | from €1,200 | about €133 across 9 |
| 10 or 11 | D34 · D36 | 9.8 to 11.3 m | from €1,450 | about €132 across 11 |
| 11 with more room | D42 | 13.0 m | from €2,090 | about €190 across 11 |
| More than 11 | Two boats | They leave and anchor together | Two charters | Depends on the models |
Lengths and capacities from the boat pages on this site. The 'from' price is low season; July and August are higher. Fuel is charged separately.
If conditions do not allow safe navigation we notify you in advance and you move the booking to another date at no cost. Should no alternative suit you, the full amount is refunded.
Price with VAT and every extra itemised in writing before any payment. The single variable is fuel, which depends on the route and is settled on return.
No licence or prior experience required. He is part of the rate, not a supplement.
Half secures the boat and the date. The balance is settled before boarding.
Boarding is set against your actual arrival in Ibiza, and the return to port leaves room for your flight home.
An advisor coordinates flights, transfers, boat and tables, in English or Spanish, before and during the day.

No small print: anything outside the left column is quoted before the booking is confirmed, never on the way back into port.
We answer these by phone as well. We prefer to set them out in writing.
One hour in the air, fifteen minutes by car and the rest of the day at sea. No luggage, no check-in, no ferry: closer to a beach day than a trip.
Boarding is set against your actual arrival. If the flight is delayed, the route is reordered so you keep your lunch in Formentera.
We check the forecast with you the day before. If Formentera is not navigable, we offer Ibiza’s sheltered coast, another date or a refund of the boat.
The boat, from €1,200 for up to nine guests. Flights, transfers and tables are added in the proposal, line by line, with a written total.
The Day Escape slots into your own proposal: you keep the client relationship, we run the day, with a single point of contact in English or Spanish.

We confirm boat availability before you offer it to your client.

A day with two flights cannot hang on the morning forecast. So the call is made the day before, with you, and every alternative is in writing before you book.
Booking the Day Escape is not a bet on the weather.
Yes. The first flight leaves El Prat at around 07:10 and lands in Ibiza an hour and five minutes later; return flights run into the evening or night, depending on the season. In between there is time for a full day on the boat, lunch in Formentera and an early dinner in Ibiza.
For a day trip, fly. The ferry from Barcelona to Ibiza takes eight to nine hours, and the one to Formentera around eleven and a half, overnight. The Barcelona to Ibiza flight takes just over an hour.
No. Formentera has no airport, so there are no flights from Barcelona to Formentera. You fly to Ibiza and cross by sea: by ferry from Ibiza port or, as on the Day Escape, by private boat from Marina Ibiza straight to the beaches.
It depends on the date, the group and how you fly. The private boat with skipper costs from €1,200 for a full eight-hour day for up to nine guests; from €1,400 in July and August. Flights, transfers and restaurants are added in the proposal, with a written total before you confirm.
The boat with a professional skipper, VAT, comprehensive insurance, towels, water, soft drinks and snacks, snorkel gear and paddle boards, and the coordination of the whole day. Fuel, which depends on the route, flights, transfers and restaurant bills are charged separately.
At a Formentera beach club or beach restaurant with access from the sea, with a table booked subject to availability, or on board, with catering served at anchor. You choose when you request your proposal.
Yes. It is the second option: a private jet to Ibiza from El Prat’s general aviation terminal, with outbound and return times set around your agenda. It is quoted per aircraft and subject to the operator’s availability.
Yes. Direct flights from Madrid to Ibiza take about an hour and a quarter, so the day works the same way.
We review the forecast with you the day before. If Formentera is not navigable, we offer Ibiza’s sheltered coast, another date or a refund of the boat. If your outbound flight is late, boarding moves to your actual arrival time.
May to October. June and September bring warm water, fewer boats and lower boat rates than July and August. In October the sun sets earlier, so sunset usually joins you on the way back to port.
Up to nine guests plus skipper on a D28, D29 or D32, and up to eleven on a D34, D36 or D42. Larger groups take two boats that sail and anchor together.
Yes. Hotels, concierges, DMCs and travel advisors can request our Trade Kit, with trade terms, and book the day for their clients through a single point of contact.
Tell us the date, how many of you there are and how you would like to fly. We reply within 2 hours, subject to availability, and send the full proposal with schedule and total. You will find us at Marina Ibiza: Passeig Joan Carles I, 23, local 10, 07800 Eivissa.
No obligation. Just what we need to plan your day.
A De Antonio Yachts Ibiza advisor will review your case. Your details are used only to prepare and discuss your proposal, in line with our privacy policy.
